Private Classes
Special Projects
This is a rare opportunity to transform heirloom jewellery, inherited gold, or locally sourced precious metal and gems into a contemporary piece that carries your story forward.
The day begins with a personal design consultation alongside contemporary jeweller Jessica Winchcombe. Together, we will explore ideas, examine examples, and develop a design that honours the significance of your materials while creating something entirely new.
From there, we move into Jessica's goldsmithing studio, where your metal will be melted, refined, and transformed by hand. You will be part of every stage of the process, witnessing and participating in the remarkable journey from raw material to finished piece. Each element is carefully considered and individually crafted before being assembled into a unique work of jewellery.
More than a workshop, this experience is a collaborative making process—similar to commissioning a bespoke piece, but with the rare opportunity to be directly involved in its creation. Working alongside a professional goldsmith, you will gain insight into traditional techniques while helping bring your vision to life. Jess will guide you throughout and step in for the more technical aspects when needed, ensuring the finished piece is beautifully crafted to a professional standard.
No two projects are ever the same. Whether you're remaking a treasured family heirloom or crafting wedding rings from meaningful gold, you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece and the unforgettable experience of having helped create it yourself.

No two projects are ever the same. Every piece created in this workshop is a unique memory piece, carrying its own story and significance. Whether made from inherited gold, treasured heirlooms, or newly sourced materials, the finished jewellery becomes a lasting connection to the people, places, and moments that inspired it.
