Off the tourist path, Queenstown's best-kept secret has to be the Studio 42 Jewellery School.
From beginner jewellery-making workshops to advanced learning courses, Studio 42 is a creative hub that’s open for travellers and locals who are searching for a unique and unforgettable hands-on experience.
At Studio 42, learning becomes a Creative Adventure in artist Jessica Winchcombe’s cozy and welcoming studio space, tucked into the mountains of New Zealand’s stunning Southern Alps.
During your course, you’ll learn how to use a range of tools that will have you hammering, sawing, soldering, filing, pounding, dremeling, doming, texturing, and polishing silver into your own unique piece of silver jewellery.
"Most of the guests can’t believe what they achieve and make with their own hands in such a short amount of time.
They each walk out with one or two pieces of jewellery from each workshop and are really stoked"
