Studio 42’s Silver Membership is an excellent option for creatives looking to build on existing skills and take the first steps toward becoming a jewellery designer.
This membership offers a dedicated pathway into foundational jewellery techniques, alongside the opportunity to be part of a supportive and engaged creative community. Students are invited into conversations around the business jewellery and how to develop a practice in a thoughtful and sustainable way.
The Silver Membership is designed to be completed within a three-month timeframe, allowing space for skills to develop steadily and with intention.

For those seeking a more immersive experience, Silver Membership can also be completed over an intensive two-week period.

A quality bespoke learning experience.
In the first 10 classes, you are well on your way to having your work in a market - Level 2 well on your way to stocking shops and can now stone set bezels or gypsy set - Level 3 more confidence and developing ideas and understanding the production and starting to understand business and conceptual development as well as a stone setting with confidence - L4 feeling like a legend who now has there own small jewellery brand - still needs to keep practising skills but understands how to keep moving forward by themselves.
Working through levels 1-4 of jewellery-making skills to become a jewellery designer and maker.
Expect to go up a level each set of 10 classes including 20 hours of homework per week. If you don't have time for homework your skills will take longer to develop as it is a bit like learning an instrument - practice is key.

The perfect option for beginners or those returning to jewellery making who may feel a little rusty.
If you already have some experience, you’ll have the flexibility to progress to the next level once you’ve refreshed your skills and completed a small body of work.

Use of the Studio workshop to practice your jewellery skills in your own time during the week.
Hands-on assistance from your tutor, Jessica Winchcombe, in class time.
Materials for each class are included in the price; however, if you design something with more material weight than our example pieces, extra materials are available to purchase.
